Your Financial Reality Begins With Your Mindset

The way you think about money shapes your behaviours, decisions, and habits. It influences what you do and what you avoid. Money is indeed deeply emotional. Before a single dollar is saved or spent, your internal beliefs about money have already started dictating how you interact with it.

Beliefs shape behaviour. Never believe that you are poor or that you are the cause of the situation you are currently in. I never believed that I was poor. I only believed that my current situation was poor.

So, develop the mindset, character, habits, and behaviours that can help you get rid of your poor current situation. Train your brain to have clarity of purpose about what you really want in life.

The Story of My Reality

I was poor and broke as a young man, but I never allowed it to discourage me. I had a very big financial idea, even though I did not have the money to bring everything to reality.

Every money that came within my reach, I tried to invest a portion of it in cryptocurrency because I discovered that I could invest in assets, no matter how little I had. This action was repeated many times.

Some of my friends registered and started learning how to trade Forex. Some joined the real estate industry as marketers. The most important thing is that we were willing to accept calculated risks and take action.

It all begins with having a clear mindset. What do you want? How much can you invest? What do you want to learn? What opportunities can you take advantage of?

There is no particular formula for success. But when you dream big, you begin to see possibilities in the direction of your actions.

The Hard Truth

Effort without direction leads to exhaustion.

Your journey to success requires small start-up capital, strategy, and the ability to adapt. Train your mindset to understand that there are no completely free things in the world. Sometimes, you need small money for subscriptions, advertisements, learning, and other things that can help you move forward.

If you do not develop your financial mindset and visualize where you want your financial situation to be in the next five years, the only thing that may continue growing in your life is your age.

Your mindset should not be about dressing to impress people, spending every weekend, surrounding yourself with people who have no financial direction, and working only for money.

Sometimes, we waste money on things that are not truly important to our lives simply because we want to impress other people.

There were times I invested money and trekked to an event or workplace, not because I had no money for transportation, but because my mindset was focused on my goals. My goals were hungry, and that hunger pushed me to keep investing every dime I had, apart from the money needed for feeding and other basic necessities.

I was not trying to suffer for no reason. I was trying to create a better financial reality.

The 5 Circles of Financial Reality

This is my own explanation of financial reality. I have always studied these different levels, and I have taken practical steps to develop my mindset and move toward my target.

1. People in Financial Crisis

These are people living in extreme financial difficulty. They struggle to meet their basic needs, may depend on begging or assistance to survive, and may not have a stable source of income to take care of themselves.

2. People of Financial Instability

These people may have jobs or sources of income, but their income is not enough to properly take care of their needs.

When an unexpected situation occurs, they may need to borrow money from financial institutions, friends, or even their workplace to solve the problem.

They may earn a salary, but their salary is not enough to comfortably handle their financial responsibilities.

3. People of Financial Stability

These people have steady incomes and good jobs. They may be able to travel, take care of their needs, and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.

However, their income is still mainly dependent on their labour and presence. They have to work before money comes in.

This can be deceptive because what happens if they lose their job? What happens if the company closes down? What happens if they are no longer able to work?

A stable job can provide stability, but it does not necessarily provide financial freedom.

4. Financial Investment

At this level, people begin to own investments and assets that can generate income even when they are not physically present.

This should be one of your financial goals in life.

Even if you are an employee or salary earner, you should think about investing and developing assets that can potentially create value beyond your monthly salary.

5. Financial Freedom

At this level, a person’s income from assets and investments is no longer only enough to take care of their immediate needs.

They have built enough financial resources to support themselves, their families, and possibly future generations.

This is the level where money works beyond your personal labour.

The School System Perspective

One of the most common ideas we are taught is:

Go to school. Get a job. Work hard. Save money. Get out of debt.

But the school system does not always teach people how to develop a financial mindset through investments, assets, digital opportunities, or practical business ideas.

The system is mainly focused on certificates, employment, and paychecks.

Then many people wonder why so many people remain poor or unemployed, especially in an economy where there are not enough factories and industries to employ everyone.

The problem is that many people’s financial capacity has not been trained to think beyond their immediate environment or to understand what the future may hold.

Education is important. But education without financial understanding can still leave a person financially unprepared.

Above All

Believe in yourself.

Believe that it is possible to break the cycle of poverty and create the financial reality you desire.

Your perception matters a lot in this world. The way you think influences the actions you take.

If you constantly believe that something is impossible, you may never take the necessary steps to pursue it. But when you begin to think about possibilities, your actions can begin to change.

Finance is not just about making money.

It is about understanding reality.

There is still more to reveal.
